The works of art of this museum belonged to distinguished families from Sucre, the pieces were collected by the lawyer Alfredo Gutierrez Valenzuela and transferred to the University San Francisco Xavier as a request made by the family. It features furniture of diverse styles, beveled mirrors, sculptures in marble, alabaster and bronze, spiders of baccarat and rock crystal, as well as fine pieces of Murano crystal, vases in porcelain of the firms Limoges, Sevres, Rosenthal, among others. Also it shows several pieces that belonged to the family Argandoña Urioste, Prince and Princess of La Glorieta. Address: Plaza May 25, 1922 |
